The HoneyBook alternative built around your client work
HoneyBook is built to book clients and get paid. Rileno is built for what happens after: projects, meetings and a client portal, with no fees on your revenue.
HoneyBook details checked on 25 October 2026.
The short version
Both give you a CRM, invoices, a client portal and an AI notetaker. HoneyBook is stronger on the sales paperwork, with contracts, e-signatures and card payments in one flow. Rileno is stronger on delivering the work: calls become requirements on the project, progress is tracked through milestones and tasks, and your client follows along in their portal. Rileno also has a free plan, and your clients pay you directly, so there are no processing fees.
Choose Rileno if
- You run projects with milestones and tasks, not just bookings
- You want call notes turned into project requirements your client can see
- You want a free plan and one flat price for your whole team
- Your clients already pay you by bank transfer or Wise, and you want no fees on that money
Choose HoneyBook if
- You need contracts and e-signatures today; Rileno does not have them yet
- You want clients to pay by card inside the same tool
- Most of your work is one-off bookings rather than multi-step projects

What actually differs
Why agencies switch from HoneyBook
Calls become requirements, not just notes
HoneyBook’s notetaker writes up the call. Remi does that too, then files what the client asked for as requirements on the project, ready to plan into milestones, and lets you share the summary in the client portal.
No fees on your revenue
Payments taken through HoneyBook carry card and bank-transfer fees. Rileno never processes your clients’ money: they pay you the way they already do, and you record it against the invoice.
A free plan and flat team pricing
HoneyBook starts at $29 a month after a trial, and unlimited team members need Premium at $109. Rileno is free for up to five clients, and Agency Pro covers your whole team for $39.
